Heritage For Future

The SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL HERITAGE FOR FUTURE is devoted to the protection, conservation, revitalization, and use of cultural heritage. The journal publishes original articles presenting the theoretical and practical problems of broadly understood the heritage protection. The individual issues of the journal are monographic in nature – a selected issue in the field of heritage protection is presented by authors from different countries.

The journal is published twice a year, publishes scientific articles in English, and implements the open access idea. The publisher is the International Scientific Committee on Theory and Philosophy of Conservation and Restoration ICOMOS and Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of Lublin University of Technology.

The papers are evaluated by reviewers who are members of Editorial Board and external specialists; the list of reviewers is updated and available on the journal’s website. Each article is reviewed by two independent reviewers from outside the author’s unit (the so-called double-blind review process).

The journal is guided by the principles of publishing ethics of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The editors undertake to fight unethical phenomena, such as ghostwriting or guest-authorship. The authors bear responsibility for the papers published. The electronic version of the journal is original.
